The end
of an amazing area
(Spoiler alert, don’t read this
before watching the final episode of HIMYM)
“It was at times a long, difficult
road. But I’m glad it was long and difficult because if I hadn’t gone through
hell to get there, the lesson might not have been as clear. You see, kids,
right from the moment I met your mom, I knew: I have to love this woman as much
as I can for as long as I can, and I can never stop loving her, not even for a
second. I carried that lesson through every stupid fight we ever had, every 5
am Christmas morning, every sleepy Sunday afternoon, through every speed bump,
every pang of jealousy or boredom or uncertainty that came our way. I carried
that lesson with me.”

How I Met Your Mother 9x24 “Last
Forever, Part 2”
This is how the last episode of my favorite TV
show “How I met your mother” should have ended, just like this. This would have
been just perfect. It even made me cry for several times. The creator of
the show meant to ruin the whole show, though. I want to start up with how much
I loved this show, how everything started and why.
The first episode of “How I met your Mother” aired in 2005. At the beginning I couldn’t
understand why everything loved this show so much. This Barney guy seemed to be
just a stupid guy for me. All his stupid ways to pick up girls made me angry.
After a while, though, when a friend of mine talked about this show I thought,
why shouldn’t I start watching it, why not? Maybe it’s worth it.
Since I can’t stand watching the German version
of TV shows I, from now on, started watching this show in English of course. In
just a short period of time I had watched all the episodes and I became kind of
addicted. The seasons went by and the more episodes I had watched, the more I
loved this show. All this time Ted tried to fight for his beloved Robin, the
time he fell in love with this beautiful girl named Tracy, I shared the thrill
with all the main characters. Especially when I heard the last quote I had
tearful eyes and thought this was the best way the show could have possibly
ended. After a few seconds, however, I was shocked.
After Ted finishing his story of how he met the
love of his life, his kids just said. No, this can’t just be the story of how
you met mom - this is the story of how you totally are interested in Aunt
Robin. After hearing this I was even more shocked. When he showed up at her
apartment with the blue French horn in hand, I thought this can’t be it. Noooo
way. First of all, Robin??? Why? This show had proved several times that they
aren’t meant for each other.. And.. the name of “How I met your mother” is
totally inappropriate. It should be renamed: How Ted finally asked his kids to
date Robin and how he got their permission.
Stupid. As much as I loved this show, it doesn’t change the fact how it ened.
